BHI HP-1 headphones

I recently purchased the above headphones from a retailer near Heathrow airport.

The BHI phones are comfortable to wear, enclosing the complete ear, the phones surrounding leather type covering cushion, sits comfortably.

The sound spectrum level has to the best of my judgement, a level sound over the sound audio signal from a Ham Radio chat, which the different audio signals from Ham Radio audio is variable.

The BHI phones come with a 3∙5mm fitting, with also a 3∙5mm to ¼” adaptor fitting.

The phones cable wire is a near 2meters in length.

As with all headphones, there is a right way and not quite the right way to place headphones for use.

The tendency is to take hold of each earpiece with each hand and pull wide apart.

The real trick to place headphones, is to with both hands, place the headphones on top of your head.

Next, open apart just wide enough to start to slide the headphones down over each side of your head.

Next, when reaching down to your ear level with the headphones, pull just apart little more to cover over your ears.

This manoeuvre I use to limit the stress levels experienced by all headphone structures to place the headphones for use.

This method of use and placing headphones, I found out many years ago, over some 30 years of ham radio.
