Clothing styles and trends in Zena and Vanafanyu
The Quanafi:
They are basically androgynous so they dress alike.
Here our Quanafi model, Maina Unalia, is wearing the traditional me or sarong, as they wear only a sarong that is shorter in summer. The summer material is generally cooton or silk-like, thin and cooling.
In winter they sometimes add a poncho (garamme)like Unalia is wearing, but covering the shoulders as well. Both the garamme and the me are made of a soft flannel-like fabric for warmth.
Here Unalia is dressed for climbing or rough work. The leather wraps protect her hands and feet from sharp or rough surfaces, and her sarong is leather instead of a soft fabric.
See the bottom of the page for links to information on these and other concultures.

More on the Yäwu:

Yäwurenyi:
Wö is modelling a fancy yawu-style outfit. Normally it is sleeveless rather than halter style but Wö likes to be a little trendy. Yawu also wear the wraps on hands and feet for rough work, though the feet wraps are generally shorter than on quanafi.
Humans:
Descubralíans are much more stylish, with gender distinctions in clothing optional (yes, men can wear skirts), though women always wear something on top.
Some of the latest fashions worn by Xavyer and Marísol:
Prætiridífin and Kelvia prefer a more traditional or tailored look, though they sometimes wear Yäwu or Quanafi or Descubralían styles. Among the PD especially women are expected to dress modestly, but they find ways of having fun with their outfits.
Claudea and Martara in their normal everyday attire:
And here is the famous Kelvian rock star, known only as αnjεlí. She is incredibly popular among young descubralíans and Yäwurenyi.
The generic Ze:
"Lepidopteran clothes consist of a tubetop and a miniskirt (mid thigh) for sa and a loincloth-like clothing for males. Both the skirt and the loincloth have a fabric strip serving the purpose of underwear." Butterflyians (teze) wear a beaded fringe during courtship
