antiX is a fast, lightweight and easy to install systemd-free Linux live CD distribution based on Debian Stable for Intel-AMD x86 compatible systems. antiX-core has no window system, so it is very lightweight.

This page describes how to install antiX-core into a USB memory stick with nominal 8GB or more. Please download antiX-xxx-core.iso from https://antixlinux.com/download/ (300MiB).
How to install
Boot up from a live DVD or USB memory where the ISO image is written.
Press the ENTER key to launch the OS.
Attach the initialized USB memory, login as root according to the guidance, and then start the cli-installer.
root@antix1:~# cli-installer
The installer detects and lists up disks and partitions.
Choose one such as "sdb1", and continue installation. When the installation completes, you can shut down or reboot the computer. Caution: hda1 in the prompt message is wrong. sda1 is right.
root@antix1:~# poweroff
root@antix1:~# reboot
After Installation
You should connect a LAN cable, and then upgrade the software packages.
user@antix1:~
$ sudo apt update
:
:
user@antix1:~
$ sudo apt upgrade -y
Now you can enjoy the antiX-core.
