Bring a touch of ancient artistry to your home! Join us for a fun and hands-on pottery workshop where you'll create a unique, characterful plant pot inspired by the bold aesthetics of Aztec art.
What You’ll Create: In this session, you will learn the fundamentals of the slab-building technique to construct a sturdy and stylish pot for your favourite greenery. Once your structure is formed, the real magic begins with surface decoration. You can follow our Aztec-inspired templates or let your imagination run wild with your own unique vision.
Personalize Your Design:
• Geometric Patterns: Use our selection of professional stamps and shapes to press intricate, rhythmic patterns into the clay.
• Organic & Floral: Alternatively, use real flowers and foliage to create a soft, natural design that contrasts beautifully with the structured pot.
You'll have a choice of colours to have your pot finished in.
This workshop is perfectly suited for absolute beginners as well as those looking to expand their hand-building skills. I will provide all the necessary materials, tools, and step-by-step demonstrations to ensure you leave with a piece you are proud of.
Please Note: Pottery is a slow and rewarding process! Your handcrafted pot will need time to dry thoroughly before being fired and glazed in the kiln. Your finished piece will be ready for collection from the venue approximately t3 to 4 weeks after the workshop.
