Project Development and Interconnection

We provide project developers, suppliers, and other financial entities with technical expertise and analysis of projects and product offerings. Our staff has experience coordinating over 1 GW of project opportunities through the interconnection and development process, on projects ranging in size from 5 to 250 MW across the U.S. and Canada and including wind, solar PV, and non-renewable sites. Our staff also is actively involved in the evolving interconnection requirements and standards in the North American market, from NERC to individual Transmission Operators.

• We can serve as your Interconnection specialist for North American utility scale wind and solar PV plants.
• We can assist in the negotiation of technical interconnection requirements, Power Purchase Agreements, and Interconnection Agreements.
• We can serve as technical support at scoping meetings and reviews of System Impact Studies results meetings.
• We can perform engineering work on your generation projects, evaluating sites for interconnection issues and reviewing electrical design and system impact study results.
• We can estimate costs for the AC system of your plant, and help identify potential cost-saving solutions.
