IME9416 - Autumn 2012
Instructor: Pérez-Xochicale Miguel Angel
Course Highlights
The goals of this course are to provide students with an understanding of enabling you to implement simple logical operations using combinational logic circuits, to understand common forms of number representations in digital electronic circuits and to be able to convert them between diferrent representations, to enable you to understand the logical operation of simple arithmetic and other Medium Scale Integrated Circuits, and to enable you to implement synchronous state machines using flip-flops.
Upon completion of the course, the student will gain understating of the basic concepts of digital electronics in order to be able to develop automatization projects. In addition, the student will be able to choose the best option from a variety of elements such sensors, neumatic, electric, and electro-neumatic devices, in order to implemente automatization projects.
