Dear friend: Hari Om.
At Chinmaya Mission Tri-State Center, we conduct an annual fundraising program called Chinmaya Surabhi. For 2018, Chinmaya Surabhi will be conducted on December 1st at Royal Albert Palace, Edison, NJ. Please join us without fail. You can get your seat tickets by replying to this email or from Chinmaya Sevaks.
In 2018, we are raising funds in the following three categories: Chinmaya University, Chinmaya Vrindavan and Chinmaya Ramdoot.
Inspired by the vision of Pujya Gurudev, Chinmaya University was founded in 2016. Based on the core values of Spirituality, Purity, Practicality and Innovation, Chinmaya University aims to create an academic platform that bridges Indian Knowledge Traditions (IKT) with current-day applications in every sphere in society. The university aims to integrate the best practices of modern pedagogical advances with the beauty of traditional Gurukula model of learning and prepare students to address contemporary challenges, inspiring them to leave a positive impact on the world as confident and cultured contributors to society. The main campus for the University is in Kochi, Kerala, India.
At the university, we teach our students to navigate disagreements, debating, dialoguing and allowing multiple points of view to just be. We ensure that our students not only get good jobs but also pursue their personal interests with passion while productively contributing to society.
We have the privilege and responsibility to ensure that this grand and noble venture undertaken by Chinmaya Mission is sustained, as the very foundations are being laid today.
Here are the opportunities to support:

With the inauguration of our Ashram in Cranbury, NJ in 2014, we have a grown to a bustling center catering to our community with a variety of programs. We conduct Balavihar program for children, Vedantic teaching for the adults. We organize numerous learning sessions on Upanishads, Gita, and other Hindu Scriptures. We host several world-renowned teachers to conduct Jnana Yagnas; we invite well-known artists to give cultural performances.
Through our annual Surabhi fundraising, we have reduced our initial mortgage and loans from $3.3M in 2014 to $1.9M today. We need your help to further reduce this loan commitment so that we do not leave an outstanding mortgage for our children.
Here is how you can help today to repay our loan with a contribution of:
1. $50,000
2. $25,000
3. $10,000
4. $5000
5. $1000
6. Any other amount
Please note: Annual Balavihar fees collected goes towards maintenance costs for our Class A building. We need to fund raise through Surabhi in order to service our mortgage and reduce our loan.
