Cinderella Stories Around Room 8

I was super excited about moving to second grade because I knew exactly what I wanted to have the kids publish for my published book project. One of the units the second grade circuit does is a Cinderella unit. The students read different versions of Cinderella and compare and contrast them. After that, they work on writing their own Cinderella stories. I knew right away that I wanted to have my students type their stories out and get them published into a book!

Little did I know, the whole process took much longer than I expected. We spent a little more than a month researching (as I call it), planning, writing, and publishing our book, Cinderella Stories Around Room 8. I had my photographer friend come again to take pictures of the students with their stories in the book. We didn't make a recording this time since the stories are all pretty long. But I got a picture with the published book instead!
