Insects
One of the giant wood moths Endoxyla whose large larvae make tunnels in the trunks of trees. This adult moth photographed by Mike Kilburn in early February 2023 at -33.3393, 151.3716.
We have documented only a small fraction of the insect life on our site, but have found some fascinating species, from bombadier beetles to fireflies and stingless bees.
