For EACH research project you undertake (think of it as every time you create a Project Summary), create a new Benchling Project:
1. Create a benchling project - SHARE with the pailab-umms organization or at least Athma (athmaapai)
2. Create a notebook entry for each segment of the project
3. Each day, outline the "experiments" (broad term here) that you are undertaking - with goals, results, and conclusions/next steps clearly outlined.
Benchling resources:
1. Shareable, lab-wide protocols and templates
2. Primer, strain (bacterial, cell line, etc), plasmid inventories
3. Collections of any resource you'd like to keep track of - define your own parameters!
4. Primer Design with Primer3
5. Enzyme digestion on any sequence
6. Plasmid Design (+ primer design, digestion, re-ligation tools)
7. CRISPR guide design (+ construct design)
8. Upload gel pictures, screenshots, files, etc
9. Run snippets of code right in Benchling - macros and more!
