Complete the youth application online and pay applicable fees. Registration is quick and easy through the Scouting America portal.
π Get Your Uniform
Purchase your Cub Scout uniform (waist up) and Scout handbook for your rank. These are available at the Scout Shop or through our uniform exchange.
π§ Connect with Us
Look for and accept invitations to Scoutbook and Slack in your email. These tools help us communicate with you about important scout activities and keep track of your scout's activities and achievements.

Cub Scouts Succeeds with Your Support!
Adults from each family volunteer their time to organize events, lead youth activities, manage paperwork, and ensure access to resources.
All parents: Complete and maintain Youth Protection Training
Recommended: One parent from each family (grades 1-5) register as an adult leader
Required: At least one parent volunteer in a leading or supporting role for one event/activity throughout the year

Complete online training at scouting.org/training/youth-protection/. Create or use your my.scouting.org login. Once you've completed, please email your completion certificate to pack462sunnyvale@gmail.com.
β California AB 506 Compliance
Complete Mandated Reporter Training (online) and Live Scan fingerprint. Visit californiascouting.org/svmbc/ for instructions. Send training certificate to Committee Chair.
π Adult Application
Complete your paper application including personal references and the background check consent. Sign and give to the Chartered Organization Representative. Adult registration fees are covered by the pack!
