Mark Arnott

Orlando residents looking for ballroom dance instruction in East Orlando and in Lake Mary should look up ballroom professional Mark Arnott.

Originally from West Virginia, Mark offers dance lessons (both private and group) in Avalon Park (Avalon Dance) and at the Elite Ballroom. He offers a perspective that many other instructors cannot claim ... Mark was a ballroom dance student first, and then turned pro after being inspired by the changes that dancing had made in his own life. He has developed a reputation for being a dance workaholic when out with his students by rarely sitting out a dance. His focus is on helping people to achieve their personal dance goals without the pressure of always having to do competition, and yet he is also able to give the needed “prod” once in a while to help a student reach for goals they did not originally know they would encounter.

Mark was trained at the Marino Dance Club, in Casselberry, FL, and was the Dance Director at Dance Orlando before its closing earlier this year.

Mark is now the ballroom program director and teaches classes/hosts public dance at the Avalon Dance Studio, located n the town center of Avalon Park. He also teaches in Lake Mary at the Elite Ballroom and is the host of the Central Florida Ball held at The Crystal Ballroom.
