Oregon Historical Society Curriculum
Inspired largely by OHS’s exhibitions, our comprehensive K–12 Oregon history units guide students through object-based inquiry as well as interpreting primary and secondary sources. OHS also makes select partner resources and curriculum available to educators. Most of our curricula are designed for grades 3 and above, although lesson plans, resources, and themes can be scalable for younger students. The Experience Oregon History curriculum includes units for grades K–12.

Center for Geography Education in Oregon
C-GEO offers Oregon K-12 teachers myriad instructional resources as well as opportunities for professional development that enables them to integrate geography across their curriculum.
In 2017, Oregon Legislature enacted Senate Bill 13 which directs Oregon Department of Education (ODE), in partnership with Oregon's nine federally recognized tribes, to create Native American K-12 curriculum for Oregon public Schools.
OBP works with teachers to create lesson plans and learning materials which tell a more inclusive story, and which celebrate our state’s diverse cultural heritage. All materials are aligned with state social studies and ethnic studies standards.
