I was always interested in nature, animals, plants, Earth. At the age of 15, a new interest in maths was getting serious. I didn't have anyone to learn from, except science magazines, and my own attempts with pencil and paper.
When I was 16, I wanted to understand the fundamental forces in the universe. I studied science, and learned about the new theories of matter. Studied nuclear physics; specifically studied the fundamental physical forces (gravity, electro-magnetic, strong and weak nuclear forces), particles and waves and their interactive forces. Through that attempt, I have studied English and science intensively. It culminated in a project that awarded top score. As fascinating as it was, it didn't answer for me the burning questions about life, man, universe. It resulted in diverting my curiosity to psychological, spiritual, philosophical, existential interests.
48 years later, the questions regarding particle physics are still asked, and the answers get blurred:
