MARCH NEWSLETTER

March is upon us and the Disc Golf action is firing up! The first weekend March 5th features the return of a classic, Willywood. Toby Prince is stepping up in a big way to host this event. The OKDGA is really taking off. I can't impress enough how important that is for Disc Golf in our state.

The next weekend March 12th & 13th is another long running event, Green Country Doubles. Another young TD Matt Treat is stepping up to run this infamous Tulsa event. We are fortunate to have a great stamp by Skeet Scienski. GCD historically has a St. Patrick's theme and this years stamp is going to be most awesome.

Next on the list is Dynamic Disc Showdown at the Lodge on March 19th. This is a PDGA sanctioned B Tier. Jeremy Rusco and company always put on a fantastic event. Jeremy Taylor has a great menu lined up and you have to admit, those courses are awesome.

The following day is a one day C Tier tournament the Tulsa Pro/Am hosted by LSdisc at Chandler Park in Tulsa. That weekend presents two great opportunities for Disc Golfers to gain PDGA points and ratings in two very different settings.

The month is capped off in Twisted style at the Duncan Hill Climber on March 26th & 27th. Joe Rotan and his gang have work days planned to make sure our experience is as enjoyable as possible.. We are very fortunate to have the second Skeet Scienski disc of the month. This one is a truely spectacular Inncolor that certainly captures the spirit of this tournament.

March is looking great with multiple opportunities to play competitive Disc Golf in various formats including doubles at some of the premiere courses in our state.

Stay tuned for news updates after the events.

If you have not renewed for 2011 now is a great time. If you are a member of an affiliate club, such as the TDSA, you can save $5.00. I renewed online and it was a breeze.

Stay posted for more updates. I will write a newsletter each month with recaps and announcements.

Thanks for checking in and please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
