Kadosh Villages
Kadosh Villages
Kadosh Villages are Christian communities - holy & set apart from the secular world as commanded by the Bible (Leviticus 11:45) and similar in structure to Jewish kibbutzes or Amish farm holds. We organize, develop, and manage these communities for fellow disciples of Jesus Christ.
The Christian "fish symbol" - or Ichthys (Greek: "fish") - comes from 1st century Greek acrostic formed from the words "Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior" (Iesous Christos, Theou Yios, Soter)
Design elements:
growth limits (projected for 3 generations / 100 years > constrains all infrastructure capacities = road widths, utilities, parking, housing ...) AND natural systems (such that entire village can be recycled and bulldozed after useful life of 3 generations / 100 years, as part of urban renewal strategy via "crop rotation")
23 or so basic services (e.g. grocery, hardware store, gym ... plus basic city administration)
perimeter parking garage (convertible to offices)
adjacent farm (local food supply)
secured & connected
core services: from the head [MAYOR] to "eyes & ears" [ADMIN] to "hands & feet" [LABOR] to "brain, heart & lungs" [SCHOOL} to "flesh & bone" [TRADES] to "tongue & nose" [FARMS] to "gall bladders, spleens, and appendix" [MEDICAL] to "blood, sweat & tears" [WASTE] to eubiosis (healthy gut biome) [HOSPITALITY] & leukocytes (white blood cells) [SOCIAL SERVICES] ...
et cetera ...
Also, and most importantly, we feel that the "village model" is essential to human well-being ... and that modern deviations from this universal & traditional way of living has led to artificial substitutes and consequently a plethora of unnecessary stressors on the individual forced to "go it alone" or DIY without a trusted team ... (which in the Christian faith is the church, or the Body of Christ ...)

Nehemiah 4:14-18 - " 14 After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.” 15 When our enemies heard that we were aware of their plot and that God had frustrated it, we all returned to the wall, each to our own work.
