About Us

Box Turtle Engineering  is a professional engineering and natural resources design/build shop serving the state of Missouri.

What makes us special?  

Our staff is cross-trained in civil engineering, GIS/CAD, surveying, and natural sciences.  Our specialty is providing professional engineering services for advanced wastewater systems.  But we are also involved in natural building, underground structures and historical engineering projects.  We enjoy sitting down with people, exploring their goals for a given project, and figuring out the best approach to realize their vision.

Pricing & Scheduling

How it works:

1. FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION - for most projects, we will want to visit the site and discuss your plans with you first.

2. TYPICAL RATES:  

   • Engineering design:  $60/hr

   • Project Management & Cost Studies:  $40/hr

   • Field technician:  $20/hr

3. PLAN PRODUCTION - we generally engage in small projects that allow a quick turnaround - as such, we can usually schedule a site visit within a week of receiving a request, and turn out plans and reports a couple weeks later.
