Obesity & WEight Management

Obesity is a rising health concern nationally, and implicated in a variety of gastrointestinal diseases. Additionally, gastroenterologists are increasingly participating in comprehensive obesity and weight management via prescription of novel medications and endobariatric techniques. The following is an overview of obesity pathophysiology, relationship to digestive diseases, anti-obesity pharmacotherapy options, and procedural techniques.
