Xichtul the Unholy, the Formless One

The first of the Demon Gods, Xichtul (pronounced “gseek-tool”) whose name means The Formless, is the protector of chaos worshippers, arsonists, poisoners, and all shapeless monsters like oozes, jellies and molds. Xichtul is a god of madness, change, and treason. His followers claim that, without his ability to stir matter and bring change into the universe, reality would stagnate and wither.

Xichtul has no definite form. Even his followers have no sure way to recognize his manifestations.

Xichtul is sometimes invoked by law-abiding, decent beings when asking support during acts of treason, such as cheating on one's spouse or divulging secret information to an enemy of the state.

Xichtul lusted for Ssiklis the Scaled One during the early stages of the Godgame, and is responsible for both the creation of the Dragon and the Demonic races, but today the two entities loathe each other as much as their offspring despise each other.

Xichtul is also a god of lust and carnal passion, and as such it is sometimes invoked in love magic.
