Mhuur The Bellowing

Mhuur is the builder of Labyrinths and patron of the Minotaur race. He protects both the bestial Saamu (Savage Minotaurs) and the cultured Staargu (Civilized, law-abiding Minotaurs who live in the sprawling Labyrinth Cities in the southern part of An-Mòr.

Mhuur appears as a huge Minotaur with golden horns. He likes large, gold and ivory statues and his worshippers go to great lengths to satisfy his vanity. A god of strength and loud sounds, he has some rivalry in both of these fields with the Orc god Kra. The conflict is also made worse by the fact that Mhuur wields a large battle axe that it is rumored to have been stolen from Kra's temple. One day, the two giants will meet on the battlefield and they will determine who can bellow the loudest, who has the strongest arms, and who has the right to wield that battle-axe.

Mhuur is also worshipped by some non-Minotaur circus strongmen and gladiators, especially Dorantian humans and Ogres who have been trained by Dorantian Minotaur lanistas of the Red Circle Family (a gladiator school specializing in brute strength techniques).
