The Erebus Player's Handbook describes the skill and proficiency system used for play in Nolaria. Generally, a character has some number of "skill points" that can be expended to learn useful skills. In the past, simple skills where either assumed, based on character background, or ignored. Here, we introduce the notion of simple skills, which have a fractional skill cost associated with them. Up to three skill points plus one point per ten past 20 points may be allocated to simple skills.
