The topic of translating a book in another language came up. Doing so requires proficiency with both Calligraphy and Artist. Depending on it's complexity, a page could take 1 or 2 days to translate to a new manuscript. If the intent is to just copy the book, it can be done at 2 pages per day, with a DC check (determined by DM) to determine accuracy at the end of the process. Additional time is needed for final assembly and binding, if desired.
Materials needed:
The original book or manuscript
Quality paper or parchment
Quality pen and ink
Drying sand
Cover material
Binding frame
Heavy waxed cord and binding needle.
