The following equipment is considered essential for living in the wild:

• • Pack or sack to carry things in

  • Blanket or warm cloak

  • Water bottle or skin

  • Fire making: flint/steel or fire bow

  • Cook pot

  • Iron spikes or pitons

The following equipment will make life more comfortable in the wild:

• • Light source: candle, oil lamp, torches

  • Rope, at least 50'

  • Tent or tarp

  • Iron Grill

  • Mattress Ticking (a large cloth bag)

  • Kettle

  • Cooking knives

  • Wood Axe
