Some monsters (ghosts, for example) have the ability to project a terrible image to attackers in range. This effect is described as:
Each non-undead creature within 60 feet of the ghost that can see it must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute. If the save fails by 5 or more, the target also ages 1d4 × 10 years.
The consequences of aging up to 40 years can render some characters unplayable. In the regular rules, Greater Restoration can be used to remove the effect, but must be used within 1 minute. To make this more balanced, Greater Restoration may be applied within one week to remove the aging effects.
