Aims:-
The Centre for Ethics has three objectives:-
1. Within the Institute of Philosophy, the centre is charged with ensuring the
quality and continuity of research and education in the fundamentals of Ethics, and in the major authors in the field. On specific example is its responsibility for the Ethics / Political Philosophy Seminar in each Programme.
2. The Centre offers researchers in the field of Ethics an opportunity to meet and
discuss topics of interest. The organization of this Programme with serve this end in seminar.
3. Because most members of the Center are also connected with other Research
Centres in other faculties (e.g. economics, Law Political and Social Science) it is not possible to develop a single, homogenous research project. However, the Center serves as a host institution where members can bring specific projects, including those involving Applied Ethics, under a common Umbrella. Accordingly, the Centre will be the home of the "Theory of Norms and Democratic Rule in Abdul Wali Khan University".
