CENTRE FOR ANCIENT, MEDIEVAL AND RENAISSANCE PHILOSOPHY

Aims:-

The Centre is concerned with research in Ancient and Medieval Philosophy, through preparing critical editions of philosophical texts and producing doctrinal studies. In particular, research is focused on the study of Aristotle, Neoplatonism (especially Proclus), Patristics (Nemesius, Maximus the Confessor), the Arabic tradition (Avicenna, Averroes), Schools of Thought (Thomism,Alvertism,Nomialism, Scotism) and the Scholastics of the Low Countries.
