A Neskarex Devon Rex kitten sales agreement features the breeder, the buyer and the kitten details as well as the information below.

It must be signed by both the breeder and the buyer upon collection of the kitten. Each will keep a copy.

KITTEN SALES AGREEMENT (PET ONLY)

Conditions of sale- agreed by the breeder and the purchaser

1) I (the buyer) have viewed the kitten upon collection and am happy with his/her condition, health and temperament.

2) I (the buyer) agree to take proper care of the kitten. I will ensure he/she receives any veterinary treatment, which may become necessary throughout thier life, including regular worming, flea prevention and vaccination. I agree to take responsibility for veterinary and other expenses incurred from the time I take possession of the kitten.

3) I (the buyer) understand that this kitten is sold to me purely as a pet, and is registered on the non-breeding register. This means that under no circumstances shall he/she be used for breeding purposes by the purchaser or by anyone else. At no time after sale will the breeder transfer the kitten to the breeding register.

4) I (the buyer) agree that the kitten shall not at any time be resold or re-homed without the breeder’s prior knowledge. The breeder may be able to take the kitten back or assist in re-homing him/her. No monies will be paid or refunded by the breeder for the kitten.

5) I (the buyer) agree that the kitten will be spayed/neutered before the age of seven months.

6) I (the buyer) understand that if I ill-treat or neglect the kitten or allow anyone else to do so I have broken both the kitten sales agreement and the law (Animal Welfare Act 2006), for which I may be prosecuted. I understand that if I do not comply with the above conditions then the breeder reserves the right to reclaim the cat/kitten and I will be legally responsible for any expenses incurred .

7) I (the breeder) have given you four weeks Pet Plan insurance with your kitten. You are strongly advised to renew this policy prior to expiry. I have also supplied you with all relevant advice, kitten care information, starter food, record of worming and frontline, vaccination card and pedigree. The kitten has passed two thorough health checks carried out by my vet at 8 and 12 weeks of age.

This agreement shall remain in force throughout the cat/kittens life.
