2. where to look for places to rent (craigslist, kijiji, marketplace, rentals.ca, zumper, liv.rent, etc)

3. What are the types pf places you'll find for rent? (basement, condo, apartment, room in house, townhouse, house, etc...)

4. What are you looking for? price, size, location, furnished?, included utilities, laundry, laundry, transportation, etc.)

Class #2 Searching for a place to rent!

Todays class is going to ask you to look for trends over the time you're doing this search. Things to look for: Where is it most expensive? why? Where is it cheapest? why? what location is the best? why? what's the most exciting listing? Where are there the most listings? etc... 

1. let's give you some parameters...look for 1 bedroom, or studio, or a room in a shared place

2. price from 0-$2000

3. Location

a. check out many places in all 3 of these places: Maple Ridge vs Vancouver vs Nanaimo

b. Check out 2 or more of these places: Toronto Ontario, Calgary Alberta, Moose Jaw Saskatchewan, Charlottetown PEI, Halifax Nova Scotia.
