Investing!
Once you've started your bank account, it's time to start seeing some growth. Once you have a sense of your ins and outs monthly, you can start to find the patterns and trends.
What are you typically spending on food?
What are typically spending on transportation?
Regular bills and payments
regular income (Maybe?)
Plan for your yearly expenses (things due and paid annually)
renters insurance
car insurance (if not paid monthly)
Taxes
life insurance (?)
Make a spreadsheet budget so you can track it over time...
After you have consistency, set some expanded financial goals:
saving for a house?
saving for a new car?
saving for a big trip?
saving for retirement?
ALL OF THE ABOVE!
Life is not about working for the weekend and paying rent...it's about making money to look after your needs, then doing what you want/enjoy with the people you love. Make memories, experience things greater than working and weekends...this is living!
