I have decided not to renew my registration in the Register of Sworn Interpreters and Translators.

Therefore, I am no longer allowed to offer sworn translation services. However, should you require a sworn translation, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me. I may be able to refer you to one of my colleagues.

I have cancelled my membership of the Dutch Association of Freelance Professional Translators VZV.

My registration in the Register of Sworn Interpreters and Translators is valid for another five years, I am registered as a translator of English-Dutch and German-Dutch under registration number 212.

Only interpreters and translators who are registered in the Register are sworn interpreters and translators. Registration in the Register is subject to certain quality and integrity conditions.

Together with my colleague translator Titia Meesters I will be organizing a meeting for medical translators on Friday May 11, 2012. The meeting will be held at Opleidingencentrum De Baak in Driebergen, the Netherlands. The working language of the meeting is Dutch, but fellow medical translators translating into other languages than Dutch are welcome to attend.
