let me hear your voice

Now that you all know so much about poetry, you are going to write

  three more poems.

* One poem has to be about a change you want to see in the world.  What do YOU want to use your voice to tell the world about change you want to see happen?  The issue that is most important to you may not have been covered in the above lists.  There are so many possibilities.  Maybe you want to talk about saving endangered sea turtles, bullying, animal abuse, racism, treating people with disabilities fairly, or water conservation.  All that matters is that it is a topic that is very important to you, a change that you would like to see in the world.  This poem can be free verse or you may use one of the other styles that you learned about.

* At least two of these poems have to be free verse.  Your final two poems can be about any topic you wish.

Each poem is worth 10 points.  If poems are on time and follow the above directions, you will receive full points.  If they are late and/or are not written in two different styles, I will deduct points.
