Remember, you need to choose two different ways to present your two poems. You may choose to do both using two different technology tools, or you may present one with a technology tool and present one in a more traditional way (such as on a poster board, with artwork, or on nice paper in a frame).
I will demonstrate each one of these in class.
1. The first choice is animoto. This is a way that you can add your text to photos. You can use your own photos or graphics you find online. You can also add music to this presentation. This will probably only work for shorter or maybe medium length poems, because you can only do a 25 second presentation.
2. You can choose to do a glog. This is an online poster. You can choose graphics and shapes for your poster, and of course add text. This will work for short, medium, or long poems. This is a good option if you want to add some artistic graphics.
3. Next, you can choose to present your poem by using a prezi. This is an online presentation. You can add your own photos or ones you find on the web. This will work for short, medium, or long poems.
4. You might want to use voice thread. This site has two options, you could read your poem with a microphone, or you could make a video of yourself reading your poem. This will work for short, medium, or long poems.
5. Finally, you might want to use voki. This is a tool in which you can create an avatar, then read your poem out loud. When it plays back, it looks like your avatar is reading with your voice. This will work for poems that can be read in one minute or less.
