Dear Students,
You are to find or draw 3 pictures displaying Newton's three laws of motion and affix them to a 1/2 poster board or an 11 X 17 construction paper. In addition you are to type a caption in your OWN WORDS ( Three to four sentences) explaining how the picture illustrates the law of motion. Be detailed in your explanation. You need a picture for each law:
1. Newton's First Law- An object at rest remains at rest and an object in motion maintains its velocity unless it experiences an unbalanced force.
2. Newton's Second Law - Force is equal to mass times acceleration. The unbalanced force acting on an object equals the object's mass times its acceleration
3. Newton's Third Law- For every action force, there is a equal and opposite reaction force.
Projects are due on Monday, February 7, 2011. No Excuses!!!!
