Lab Safety Certification
Why is safety important?
Safety is extremely important especially in a lab setting. The federal and state governments have created agencies that help enforce safety regulations and codes. These guidelines cover equipment hazards and lab space. Whether it is a student lab in a high school or scientific research lab, these guidelines must be followed to ensure the safety and well being of every one. To ensure that everyone follows lab safety rules, students must become certified by completing the online lab tutorial using the link below. Certification must be obtained prior to completing any hands-on lab activity. Students will not be able to participate with out it. When finished the tutorials students will take a safety test to demonstrate mastery.
