Powerpoint Deck Revision Examples

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Family Learning Center conducted a small group training session for families of children who had been admitted to the hospital due to an asthma incident. The class was led by a nurse educator. The slide deck was secondary to the first person training provided by the nurse educator, but there was value in updating the slides to reflect a higher level of care and engagement as well as opportunity to visually explain concepts discussed in the training. A recent project that I have been working on is an on-boarding/training program for new staff. One area that I aimed to include was a series of tutorials for new staff to learn some of the administrative tasks, including, the grading procedure used across the department with a specific Microsoft Excel file. Below you can see the finished tutorial and the script I created for this project. I scripted this tutorial, because it is a series of videos, and I wanted to include a table of contents so faculty could easily navigate to the section they needed guidance with.
