Peter Haas was another Laker who grew up just down this road at 104 Lake Drive. A member of the Class of 74, Pete made his mark on the swimming team by helping them break more than half of the school’s records. In his yearbook memories, Peter fondly recalled “Woody’s stories, Papa Joe, Friday Night Zoo, his 66 Mustang, Elk Mountain and Brenner’s Alley.”
Peter Brian Haas was a First Lieutenant for the United States Marine Corps. On March 20, 1982, he died in a non-hostile accident in South Korea at the age of 26.
