UXD5 - Meter Driver

An Example of a UXD5 1A1/SA 20142 meter card is preserved at the National Museum of Scotland it is tagged as T.2023.14.1

This card was used to drive the mechanical meters that allowed bills to be generated for each Subscriber, the same meters that were used in older exchanges were used.

Meters and Meter cards were not needed in Monarch systems, but were needed in a UXD5 because its was a public exchange.
