Ted Fried's MicroCore Labs Projects include a Teensy 4.1 based emulators for the 8088.
IBM choose the 8088 CPU for the first PC, which is why Ted has produced this Emulator, but the Monarch also uses the 8088 !
I'm hoping his emulator can be used to debug the Monarch PABX.
ARM Cortex-M7 is a dual-issue superscaler processor, meaning M7 can execute 2 instructions per clock cycle, at 600 MHz. The FPU performs 32 bit float and 64 bit double precision math in hardware. 32 bit float speed is approximately the same speed as integer maths
Inputs Accept Voltages to 5.5 V
Support Mixed-Mode Signal Operation on All Ports (5-V Input/Output Voltage With 3.3-V VCC)
The SN54LVC573A octal transparent D-type latch is designed for 2.7-V to 3.6-V VCC operation, and the SN74LVC573A octal transparent D-type latch is designed for 1.65-V to 3.6-V VCC operation. These devices feature 3-state outputs designed specifically for driving highly capacitive or relatively low impedance loads. They are particularly suitable for implementing buffer registers, input/output (I/O) ports, bidirectional bus drivers, and working registers.
