Launchpads
Launchpads are secure, pre-loaded learning tablets created just for children! Each Launchpad is provides high-quality, ad-free learning apps grouped by age, grade level, subject area and theme.
The M.N. Spear Memorial Library is pleased to provide a small collection of Launchpads to be enjoyed by our community’s children. These items are unusual, fragile, and expensive. Borrowers must sign a user agreement before borrowing the Launchpads.
Launchpad Borrower’s Agreement
Launchpads can be borrowed by any Shutesbury resident, 18 years of age or older, with a valid library card in good standing.
Limit two Launchpads per household at a time.
Each borrower is responsible for the Launchpad’s safety and proper use. The borrower is responsible for damage or loss that results fromaccident, theft, misuse, or neglect.
Replacement fee $150.00.
Launchpad loan period 14 days, no renewals. Launchpads cannot be placed on hold and will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis. An overdue late fee of a $1.00 per day will accrue, not to exceed $10.00 total per Launchpad.
Launchpads must be returned to the M.N. Spear Memorial Library during regular service hours. Launchpads cannot be placed in the drop box.
