• • Tuberculosis

  • Viral Infections

  • Funfal infections

• Gardiasis

Phagocytic defects are prone to:

• • Gram negaive Organisms

  • Staphylococcus

• Fungii especially Candida and Aspergillosis

Complement Defect C5-9:

• • Nisseria Meningitidis

IL12 Interferon Gamma Loop Defect:

• • atypical Mycobacteria

  • BCG

Thus Knowing the organism can help us detect which arm of the immune system is likely to be affected.

• • Always send cultures to isolate organism in case of fever before starting antibiotics
