11.1 Changing the background color

The two possible background colors are black and white.

You can select them from the Screen tab's "White background" and "Black background."

11.2 Display an image as the background

When you want to display an image in the background, load an image using the "Load background image" button on the Screen tab.

You can toggle the display of a background image using the "Display background image" button on the Screen tab.

To control the position of the background image, right click and drag the mouse while holding the Ctrl key on the Movement Controller at the top right of the screen.

To scale the background image, right click and drag the mouse while holding the Ctrl key on the magnifying glass icon at the top right of the screen.

11.3 Display a video in the background

To load a video in the background, click the "Load video" button on the Screen tab.

You can toggle the display of a background video by using the "Show background video button" on the Screen tab.

To control the position of the background image, right click and drag the mouse while holding the Ctrl key on the Movement Controller at the top right of the screen.

To scale the background image, right click and drag the mouse while holding the Ctrl key on the magnifying glass icon at the top right of the screen.

11.4 Display models and accessories as wireframes

To display models as wireframes, click the check box marked "Wireframe" on the Screen tab.

11.5 Anti-aliased display

By clicking the check box marked "Anti-alias" on the Screen tab, you can enable anti-aliasing, which causes models to be drawn with smoother lines.

Please note that graphics cards that do not support anti-aliasing cannot use this feature.

11.6 Toggling the ground and self-shadows

When the "Display ground shadow" button on the Screen tab is pressed(active), models will have a simple shadow displayed on the ground only. When the "Self-shadow" button is active, shadows will be displayed on models and accessories as well.

Using the bar underneath the "Ground shadow" button, you can change its transparency.

Additionally, you can change the thickness of the self-shadow in camera mode under the Shadow tab.

The ground and self-shadows are toggled features. Only one may be active at a time.

11.7 Changing the rendering order of models, accessories, and effects

By default, Models, accessories, and effects are rendered in the order they are loaded. The rendering order may be changed inside of the "Rendering order" button on the Screen tab. When the button is pressed, a dialog appears where you can change the rendering order..

Models are drawn in order from top to bottom on the list.

Automatic Z sort

This feature automatically sorts the draw order of models and accessories based on their depth on the Z axis. This is not a complete solution for all draw order problems, so be aware when using it.

11.8 Toggle the display of the coordinate axis.

To toggle the display of the coordinate axis, click the "Coordinate axis" button on either the Screen tab or the command bar.

11.9 Toggle the display of bone markers

To toggle the display of bone markers, click the "Show marker" button on the View tab or the command bar.

11.10 Toggle the display of information

To toggle the display of information such as model names, FPS, and the current playing frame, click on the "Show information" button on the View tab or the command bar.
