The various interface panels will be referred to as shown in the following image.

The MMM window itself will be referred to as the "screen."

1.2 The ribbon interface

In the ribbon interface near the top part of the screen, MMM's active commands are broken into categories by tab.

Additionally, using the icon at the top left of the screen, you can save/load programs and close the application.

The top left has a quick access feature, and displays frequently used commands.

The ribbon interface can be closed by clicking the arrow button at the top of the screen.

If you want to view the screen at a large size, please try closing the ribbon interface.

1.3 Floating windows

The 3D view, timeline, and audio track may be reorganized at your discretion. This includes window relocation and creation.

You can change the position of the various panels by dragging their title bar.

Additionally, you can stack the window panels as tabs under the timeline. When a panel becomes a tab, you can drag the tab's title to change its position.

1.4 Command bar

Frequently used commands and commands related to playback are listed here as buttons on tabs.

Using the menus under the arrow on the right hand side of the various tabs, you can hide/display commands and change their order.

If you've lost track of a tab, you can reset the position of all tabs(command bar only) by clicking the rightmost button on the command bar.

You can control the selection and various properties of models, accessories, cameras, and effects by using this panel.

Using the tab at the far left, you can switch between the various modes(described below).
