SalesForce SMS
Twilio and SalesForce are a powerful combination.
Mezcode has an app to send SMS messages from the SalesForce cloud. It was created in the hands-on Developer activities at the Cloudstock 2012 conference. Developers were given instructions, access to experts, and a little time to play with Salesforce. The Twilio APIs made it fun, personal, and interactive. The project allows users to send SMS from a SalesForce.com VisualForce web page using Apex classes and the Twilio telephony APIs. It is a web form - so it will run on Android or any device with a browser.
SalesForce SMS may be gone now but it was up and running as a proof of concept. Let's change the concept and push salesforce data through SMS, using data over SMS to reach further out to the edge of the network. Every phone number has to be registered with the Mezcode Twilio account so it is not possible to provide a live web page where you can see for yourself.
