The Drop-in-Art sessions are for anyone interested in painting on a weekly basis. It is a chance to meet other people interested in doing art, experiment with ideas and different media and have fun. You are encouraged to bring your own materials and projects with you. Sometimes we work on similar projects such as collages and leaf prints or you may chose to “do your own thing”. Anything and everything goes! The coffee pot is always on and we welcome newcomers. We only require you to purchase a MCA membership of $10 for the year. We meet every Tuesday morning from 9:30 to noon.

Held the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month from 7-9 pm and the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 1-3 pm. Hand knitting seems to be back in fashion and wool shops these days look like Aladdin's cave with yarns of jewel-like colours, exciting textures and amazing wools which self-pattern. Informal groups of knitters meet in cafes, including in the Greater Victoria area, to knit and chat over their coffees. Knitting really lends itself to sociability as both tongues and needles can move at the same time! Contact: Laura Farquharson250-478-1197 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
