Tracklist

A selection of favourite album tracks played on Radio Caroline in the late 70s

During the 70s Caroline began playing album music as opposed to the usual top 40 format of other stations. This made it quite unique in European radio. Listeners would be treated to the delights of legendary North American FM radio favourites such as The Allman Brothers, The Byrds, Fleetwood Mac, Santana, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Neil Young, as well as to many other artists who got little, if any, airplay elsewhere.

MV Mi Amigo

The MV Mi Amigo
Caroline's offshore base in the North Sea during the 60s and 70s

When compiling this list of tracks the All Music Guide came in particularly useful. And I would especially like to remember Imagination Radio, whose short wave programmes during the summer of 2000 served to a large extent as the inspiration for this site.
