Below you will find in depth information about the InTASC/Wisconsin Educator Standards required for candidates going through the Accelerated Secondary Program as Edgewood College. This section is broken into ten different parts describing and providing evidence (artifacts) meeting each standard. Standards sections are labeled according to Wisconsin Educator Standards.
The Wisconsin Educator Standards for Teacher and the InTASC Educator Standards have been adopted as written (PI 34.02) by the Edgewood College School of Education and guide the development and implementation of all courses and experiences. In every license program, courses have been developed to encompass one or more of the InTASC and Wisconsin Teacher Standards as well as other standards appropriate to the licensing area. The expectation of the State and the College is that for a candidate to receive a license to teach in Wisconsin, applicants shall complete an approved program and demonstrate proficient performance under all of the standards. Overall alignment ensures that candidates gain skills, knowledge and dispositions and
demonstrate proficient performance under all of the standards.

Wisconsin Educator Standards for Teachers
