Reinforcing Shapes
Free Challenge
Great example
To create this simple shapes resource download the BeeBot Shapes document. You then print out the pages you want.
To make the actual mat below, your first print page 1 3 times but be sure to put the 3 coloured paper sheets into the printer.
you then print page 3 back to back. That is it makes 4 copies of the challenge card.
This sample sheet shows a great way to consolidate learning around shapes in a very busy classroom method.
The shapes have been stuck onto the 150mm grid.
The "challenges" have been stuck across the top.
A suggested coding method has been added.
Down the side is a box where students write their predicted code using whiteboard markers.
Students then enter their code into the BeeBot and run the robot to check their code.
When finished, the code is cleaned off.
If the sheet becomes too smudgy, clean with whiteboard cleaner or Methylated Spirits.
