• • To create this simple shapes resource download the BeeBot Shapes document. You then print out the pages you want.

  • To make the actual mat below, your first print page 1 3 times but be sure to put the 3 coloured paper sheets into the printer.

  • you then print page 3 back to back. That is it makes 4 copies of the challenge card.

This sample sheet shows a great way to consolidate learning around shapes in a very busy classroom method.

• • The shapes have been stuck onto the 150mm grid.

  • The "challenges" have been stuck across the top.

  • A suggested coding method has been added.

  • Down the side is a box where students write their predicted code using whiteboard markers.

  • Students then enter their code into the BeeBot and run the robot to check their code.

  • When finished, the code is cleaned off.

  • If the sheet becomes too smudgy, clean with whiteboard cleaner or Methylated Spirits.
