Whilst the process with children can be a little messy, the children had a great learning experience. They learnt:
how to protect the BeeBot from damage from moisture (adult covers securely with cling wrap!)
how to make paper mache
that we need to be able to access GO button
the essential parts of the animal they created
BeeBots are great to dress up in the theme of your work. There are many websites where you can download paper cut outs but recently I worked with a Kinder class where students created their own animal covers for their BeeBots using paper mache as their base.
