The Item Number (or Numbers) you would like to bid on
For each Item Number, please enter:
Your Bid Amount - and/or - Your Maximum Bid amount
The deadline for online bids is 8 am on Sunday, March 19.
You should receive a confirmation email within one day.

MAXIMUM BIDS - MAKE YOUR BIDDING EASIER
You can save yourself some time and effort by entering a "MAXIMUM BID" that you would be willing to pay in your email bidding. This amount is kept confidential from other bidders. The Auction Manager will keep a record of your limit and will place bids on your behalf, increasing your bid by the smallest amount required to make yours the highest bid, up to your maximum amount. You could end up paying significantly less than your maximum price! And this means that you don’t have to keep coming back to re-bid every time another bid is placed. The Auction Manager will serve as your proxy based on your Maximum Bid.
HOW THE BIDDING PROCESS WORKS
Bidding sheets for all items in this Silent Auction will be displayed in the MiraCosta Theatre lobby at all performances throughout the run of "The Addams Famly" - March 9, 10, 11, 12, and March 16, 17, 18, and 19. Bidding will close at the end of intermission on Sunday, March 19.
Each item will have a minimum opening bid listed. Subsequent bids must increase the highest amount entered by at least the minimum bid increment listed for the particular item in order for the new bid to be accepted.
Bids can be checked online and new bids can be made by email as well. Bid lists will be updated online at least once per day during the auction. Each day, bids received by email will be transferred to the written lists kept in the theatre lobby, and new written bids received at the theatre will be uploaded to the website as soon as is practical after each performance.
THE CLOSE OF BIDDING
Email bidding will close at 8 am on Sunday, March 19. Live written bidding will continue in the lobby that day, and will close at the end of intermission on Sunday, March 19 (approximately 3:00 pm). The Auction Manager, or another member of the Auction Committee, will monitor the bidding up until the close of the auction and will place proxy bids for email bidders up to their predetermined Maximum Bid limits. This will allow the email bidders to be active in the auction all the way to the end.
CLAIMING YOUR PRIZES
The final winners of all of the Auction items will be posted at the end of the show on Sunday, March 19 (approximately 4 pm). Winners present that day may pay for their item(s) after the show and take them home right away. Winners NOT present at the time of the announcement of the Auction results will be contacted by the phone number listed on the bidding sheets. Once payment is completed, arrangements for pick-up or delivery of the prizes will be made. In the case that the high bidder fails to complete the transaction, the prize will be made available to the next highest bidder, who will be notified.
Payment for winning bids will be by cash or by a check made out to "MiraCosta College Foundation" with "Spotlight Circle Silent Auction" written in the memo line. Credit card payments may also be arranged, if preferred.
YOUR BEST CHANCE TO WIN…
To give yourself the best chance to win your desired items you should either:
Be present in the theatre lobby on Sunday March 19th through intermission (about 3:00 pm) to personally check and enter your last minute written bids;

Enter your true "Maximum Bid" by email so that the Auction Manager can keep you in the bidding by proxy up to your assigned limit.
