This script will mirror the pose of the selected limb ( arm, leg ) for the specified animation range

Similar to what you get in Daz Studio when you press CTRL-Y but for a range of frames

Installation

══════════════════

The zip package is found at the bottom of this page

unzip it in your daz content folder, typically

C:\Program Files\DAZ\Studio\content\

or

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library

once installed, it will appear in your content library, under

studio\Scripts\mcasual

or

My Library\Scripts\mcasual

I leave the old version(s?) but really, you should take the newest, the 2022 zip

Use

Typically

- select a Buttock or Thigh node

or

- select a Collar or Shoulder node

avoid selecting nodes that are not part of an arm or a leg

it's not dangerous but will probably result in a Left-to-right mirroring

if the "recurse" option is enabled, all the "child" nodes of the selected node will be mirrored

for example, selecting a shoulder will implicitly mirror the pose of the 18 bones in that arm

specify the range of frames where the pose-mirror will be applied

press the "Do it" button

i added the "Swap" button which gives you mirror poses

you can select the hip bone ,the root node or a limb node before using this

if the 'recurse' option is active, only the first selected node is taken in consideration

WHAT'S NEW in The 2022 edition?

• Fixed the delay effect which was skipping frame 0, big time saver to not have to do copy-pose at frame 30 then restore-pose at frame 0

• New more verbose help text for the [Help] button

• New Web Site Help button that opens the page you are reading. ( unless you are reading a pdf )

• The delay slider value is now editable
